MEET THE SWLC TEAM
What Phil doesn’t know about Lotus cars isn’t worth knowing! He’s lived and breathed Lotus his entire working life and is an expert source of knowledge offering advice not only to his own customers but to garages across the world (delivered in his unique style of course!).
Usually spotted behind a pile of papers on her desk (depending how tall the pile is), Kathy dedicates her time (and patience) to the management of all things non-mechanical. With help from her assistant Emma, Kathy keeps the business running smoothly.
Helping Kathy marshal Rally Cross events from his pram, James was destined to love fast cars! He’s been part of the family business since 2002 and will be a familiar face to most of you as he supports Lotus events across the country in his Lotus Esprit and Lotus Elan (if you’ve not been blinded by the shine – he does like to polish his cars!).
Ben joined the family business straight from school and has been working on Lotus’ for almost two decades. He has a keen interest in electrical systems and engine management. Often assisting Ben with diagnostics is his son Finley; the third generation of Webb mechanics.
Known as ‘Jevvers’; James is the newest addition to our team. Passionate about the industry, he’s always updating his knowledge base from rally preparation to the latest hybrid technology and all things automotive in between.
Pete joined the SWLC team in 2015 as one of our Mechanic’s. He loves working on vintage cars however turns his hand to all things; if you’ve attended any of our Open Day’s you’ll know Pete bakes the beautiful cakes each year.
Pete has a 1983 Austin Mini which he takes to shows and events around the South West. Be sure to give him a wave if you spot him!
Kyle AKA Mubbles
Kyle has been with us since collage and has been fully qualified for a couple of years now. He competes in all the local Banger races in his Honda Civic. He also loves his Volkswagen Golf GTI and has started to modify it to what he wants.
Mike has now been with us for a number for years and is always happy to help with any parts issues. He has a wealth of knowledge in the parts industry as he started with his apprenticeship in 1974 and has since worked with several dealerships to include Volvo, Citroen, Ford and Renault to name just a few. I his spare time Mike loves to go freshwater fishing and oftens goes aways to Redmire Pool for fishing with his friends.
