The Janspeed 4-2-1 exhaust manifolds and flexible link pipes have been specifically designed for all models of the Mkl / S3 Lotus Elise and are produced in high~rade stainless steel. The manifold is supplied with all brackets and clamps. There is no need for any body modifications.
Increased power and torque are the main advantages of installing this system to either a standard 1.8i, WC or uprated engine, a small increase in sound will be noticeable.

Using a less dense cell pattern it allows greater exhaust gas flow through the body of the catalyst, while still dramatically reducing emissions to UK MOT approval.
Working in conjunction with Janspeed, the new Motorsport catalysts are designed around a steel body, with cellular stainless steel internals. Being steel bodied, the Motorsport catalysts are highly resistant to blows, making them ideal for Motorsport applications where underbody contact is a problem. Performance testing at the rear wheel has shown an average increase of 5-bhp through the WHOLE rev range with a peak of 8 bhp.
