For sale we have a lovely original 1969 Rover P6 2000 SC four speed saloon. The car is finished in the great colour of Tobacco Leaf paintwork with beige coloured carpets and black leather seats. The Rover was manufactured at Rover’s Solihull factory in Warwickshire in January 1969 and was dispatched to main agents Steel’s Ltd of Basingstoke. The car has had 8 keepers in total and has been stored in a garage since 2012 until we purchased it and have recommissioned the car back for the road. The car has had a major service with all the brakes, suspension and engine sorted. The underneath of the car is in excellent order and has been cleaned, treated and protected. We have sorted out the gear selection and the clutch feels great and have fitted four new tyres. The engine bay has been cleaned and painted. The car drives brilliantly and has just past it’s MOT and is ready to be used.
The paintwork is good but would need some work in the future as a couple of the wings have some tiny blisters. The front pair of seats would need recovering as the leather is tired and split and the carpets are starting so show their age. The car is in good condition for its age and starts on the button so is ready to be appreciated by its next owner.
This car comes with a Tachometer which was normally only fitted to the TC models, reading light, two speaker stereo sound system, ice alert, wooden affect steering wheel, heated rear windows, mud flaps front and rear and the original static seat belts are still fitted.
